Gilding is a traditional technique applying leaf metal to objects such as picture and mirror frames, furniture and artifacts as well as architectural applications, with gold, silver, copper or aluminium leaf, or faux gold leaf (Dutch metal), and faux silver leaf. It holds a magic not being achievable with any substitute.
Services include restoration gilding of picture frames, mirror frames, timber and metal furniture, artifacts and architectural gilding of walls, ceilings, doors and architectural details, for residential and commercial buildings.
The images in this gallery depict various projects, including restoration works of St. James Church in Sydney CBD.
A recent gilding project for the Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, required 475 sq meters (approx. 5100 sq feet) of ceiling panels to be gilded with aluminium leaf prior to installation.

Liquids & Glassware Photography
With an interest in architecture, industrial design and furniture design, I am currently working on a personal project that combines these passions. For more than 25 years, I have been collecting and photographing 20th century modern chairs and is in the process of compiling an extensive collection of photographs of chairs into book-form and other publishing projects.
I have since long been interested in paper engineering and Origami, the traditional Japanese art of folding paper. My own practice has taken a direction that is minimal in its approach, exploring the relationship between light and shadow. In this gallery you will find a body of works that has been collected in Australia, Europe, Korea and Hong Kong.
Prints in limited editions of 5 and 20, depending on the size of the works, are available for sale. Please make contact should you be interested.
